Nile Crocodiles are the largest crocodiles in Africa. Weighing in at 500 lbs and measuring in at just under 16 feet in length, Nile Crocodiles are one of the most fearsome predators in the Nile Basin. The largest recorded size of a Nile Croc is 20 ft and 1.6 tonnes. They didn’t get their rep just from being one of the largest creatures in the water, Nile Crocodiles are known to eat anything that comes in their way.
